What are the strengths?

Portable and with proper cartridges used, has excellent output.
Some reviews (at other websites) give very low marks for this printer but I noticed the user did not use the recommended cartridge for Photos, or the proper cartridge for crisp text images.
Example for great photo's the user needs to purchase cartridge # 99
and for clear, crisp text it's recommended you use the #88 cartridge.
Supplied with the printer are general use cartridges which produce acceptable prints or text but are not designed for specifics.
When used properly, the photo and text results are excellent.

What are the weaknesses?

None. However, there are different models which become specific for the user. The HP H470b simply means the rechargeable battery pack is included. Otherwise, you have to use electric plug in. However you can puirchase the battery for about $60 on the web.
